What teachers say about this activity:
I was looking for project ideas that I could tie into my end of term assignment options. This assignment was great. The advertisement aspect was wonderful as I do an advertisement unit in Language Arts and was able to link this into that unit.
I will use this at the beginning of the year next year--I wish I had gotten it for this year. I used it so my students would understand that history ties into everything
I did this at the beginning of the year. It reinforced why they are in my US History class.
I used this as an end-of-the-year reflection of the same question I asked my students at the beginning of the year. They really enjoyed the simplicity of it (so did I!!) and I've gotten some EXCELLENT responses and final products! Thanks!
Great activity for the beginning of the year! My students really enjoyed it!
